Melissa Jackson is an actress based in New York City. She has booked roles across the film landscape—from art house shorts (Lena’s Complicated Machine), award-winning festival docs (Freeing Silvia Baraldini), international theatrical hits (Nous York), to high-profile Hollywood features (The Next Three Days), where Jackson played opposite Russell Crowe in Paul Haggis’ crime thriller.

Most recently Melissa played the Slam Host in Love Beats Rhymes, directed by Wu-Tang Clan member RZA, Jack in Jack and Jilldirected by Nikhil Melnechuk and co-starring Ellen Hollman, and is currently on the festival circuit playing Indira in Fevah, directed by Randall Dottin and co-starring Russell Hornsby and LaRoyce Hawkins.
